Thank you for this post, Belle! I recently purchased a white lace short-sleeved, scoop-neck top but haven’t been able to figure out how to wear it. What’s appropriate to wear underneath the top? It seems a little too revealing to just wear with a white bra, but, so I tried it with a white tank top and it wasn’t doing it for me either. What do you suggest? I’m thinking of wearing the it primarily as a casual top on the weekends. However, if there’s a way to wear it in my business-casual non-profit office, I’d love to hear your suggestions too. Thanks in advance!

If you didn’t like the look of a white tank, try nude (or nude to you). I like the look of just about any color sheer shirt with a nude tank or camisole because it covers what it needs too but kind of fades into the background

I definitely busted out my black lace shell to wear under my black suit today. Love all of these options, too!
