Today’s casual Friday look comes to us from the blog Crystalin Marie.  I like the relaxed, totally chic vibe that the outfit has.  It’s this kind of easy cool that I’ve always admired/envied.

One. This black trench coat from London Fog is a great basic (also in plus-size).  If you want something slouchier, I recommend this one from Solemo Mio.

Two. I know Alexa Chung is today’s “It Girl” but $350 for jeans is insane.  Looking for inexpensive distressed jeans?  I suggest the Old Navy Rockstar.  Need something dressier for work?  I recommend a straight leg black pant like this pair from Ann Taylor.

Three. I chose this Frame t-shirt because I love a scoop neck tee and they are so hard to find.  Need a nice t-shirt that doesn’t set you back a pretty penny?  Try this $15 Everlane v-neck.

Four. Aviators forever.  They’re just my favorite.  I love their classic feel and timeless cool factor.

Five. I don’t wear a watch often, so finding an inexpensive, functional watch was nice surprise.  Looking for something more expensive/better quality?  I recommend the Philip Stein brand.

Six. I love scarves for layering casual looks.  This camel-colored scarf is stylish and cozy.  I also like this sable-colored LoveQuotes scarf; their scarves are so large, they look like they might swallow you.

Seven. A simple leather belt is a nice addition to any wardrobe.  This Fossil one is nice.  You can also find great ones at vintage shops and thrift stores.

Eight. This reversible slouchy tote is a great, inexpensive item.  If you’re on the hunt for something a little nicer, people rave about the Cuyana brand.  I recommend this Madewell tote.

Nine. I’ve given up on ankle boots.  My pear-shape just won’t allow them to look as good as I want.  If you can rock them, these inexpensive Dorothy Perkins boots are a nice choice.  Need another option?  I think a black d’Orsay flat is a solid choice.
