    Hi Belle –

I’m reading your site in an RSS reader and the formatting/links are not working
    🙁

  2. Joy says:

None of your links are coming through on Feedly

    • Belle says:

I’ve heard this, and about Digg, and other RSS readers. I have Beth looking into it. Hopefully we can figure it out soon.

  3. Jessica says:

I thought the watch was heavy at first too, but you really do get used to it. Plus, the vibrations are such a random, but helpful, part of the experience and I’m curious to see if you still get the same effects through the necklace.

Also–amazon has the apple-like metal bands for around $15 which is obviously a significant price deduction. No green marks, and I think they look exactly the same.

    • Jess says:

I agree with Jessica – the watch was noticeably heavier than my other watches those first couple of days, but you do get used to it and won’t even notice after a while. Unless your issue isn’t the weight, but the size or shape – that’s another problem. If I couldn’t feel the vibrations, it wouldn’t be worth it to me.

  4. A says:

Is it possible to have the links pop out to different browser tabs when clicking on them for the workday reading? I’d love to open them all up and sometimes keep those tabs open while still reading, which is tough if you have to keep going back and forth. Thanks!

    • Belle says:

They should be doing that already. What browser are you using? Are you reading on the blog or in a reader? Mine are working in Safari, give me some more info and we’ll troubleshoot.

      • Belle says:

I take that back. They’re popping in a new tab from the main page (just clicked on the weekly edit) but not from the post page. Is Mercury in retrograde? We’ll get all these things sorted out. Let me add this to the list. This was my #1 request.

    • Belle says:

They should be fixed now. Let me know if that worked on your end.

  5. S says:

Hmm, the NYTimes article offers a pretty simplistic view of CEO success (length of tenure). Personally, I think Marissa Mayer is a success – negotiating the sale of your company is supposed to be followed by your resignation as CEO. That’s normal, not “failure”.

Truth is the NYTimes has always been critical of Ms Mayers’ management of family leave issues – its not enough for the NYTimes if she succeeded at business.

The Find: A Striped Tee

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern

When I was young, my Mother used to bring me along when she would go shopping for fabric. As a result, I spent a lot of time, killing time, flipping through pattern books. So when I spotted this dress, I was instantly transported to the pattern table at a Jo-Ann Fabrics.
