Coat Week: Pick No. Five

Nov 9, 2018

Puffer coats have become a staple piece for many women.  The cold weather just seems less overwhelming when you’re huddled inside a big, puffy coat.  They’ve never been my favorite look, but for this one, I could change my mind.

The Orolay Puffer Jacket is one of the most popular clothing items on Amazon.  Just $99, and coming in five fabulous colors, it’s one of those cool coats that everyone asks where you got it.  It was such a trendy piece last winter, that it wound up on The Cut and Business Insider.

Looking for a shorter length?  This Bernardo Sporty Hooded jacket is worth a look.  Or if you want a bit of a splurge, Barbour makes a great puffer.

Plus-size? This Land’s End puffer has a sporty look to it.  It also has a hood, which I know a lot of you prefer.

Curious if anyone has the LL Bean 850 fil puffer jacket. I feel like I want to bite the bullet up here in MN, but at $250 for a puffer jacket I’m having a hard time hitting the buy button…

I picked up a Sebby puffer from Nordstrom Rack for… $45?, which is insane. They have really excellence sales on coats.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
