The Best Gym Socks, Ever

Dec 11, 2018

I always seem to have sock problems.  Specifically athletic sock problems.  They slip.  They bunch.  They rub.  They’re too thin.  They’re too thick.  Not great.

But one day this summer, I borrowed a pair of socks from my Mother.  They were so soft, so supportive.  They were just running socks, but they felt so luxurious and comfortable.

So, obviously, I needed to buy five pair.

Feetures socks come in a variety of colors and styles (seriously, the options are virtually endless).  I wear their Light Cushion Trainer Socks and their Elite Ultralight Socks.

What makes these socks so awesome is the anatomical design the hugs the foot.  The targeted compression also supports the foot.  And, best of all, the fabric wicks away moisture to keep your feet dry.

It seems odd to have such strong feelings about a workout socks, but I do.  I like them so much, that when I realized that I’d only brought one pair on a trip, I Amazon Prime’d two more to my hotel.  Sometimes, you just need to slip your foot into a great sock.

Ha! I also have very strong feelings about workout socks, and I have a style I will always seek out when/if I need more. I don’t workout or run that much (…#eventuallyi’llgetaroundtoit), but boy oh boy my socks better be right! They do make a difference!

Mine are the Saucony no-show river socks.

I will give these socks a try! But that baby! and the parents! How are they, and how is the little one doing???

I also borrowed a pair of these from my mother, fell in love, and have never looked back! They are wonderful.

I don’t often comment here, but omg I COMPLETELY AGREE. I have never owned a better workout sock – no chafing, little sweat (I have REALLY sweaty feet), and so comfortable. I’m slowly replacing my entire workout sock collection with these bad boys. LOVE.

Love Feetures! Also check out Balegas – they’re incredibly similar but fit both feet (rather than Feetures that have a left and a right), which frankly when I’m getting up to go to the gym before work is sometimes just too much. I usually buy whichever I can find the best deal on.

I saw the title of this post and was fully prepared to disagree with you if you didn’t know about feetures, but it turns out that you do! Pricey but I’ve been wearing the same pairs for 5+ years and they are still going strong. So so worth it.

+1 on Balega socks… I treated myself to nice workout clothes this year (a good feedback loop of rewarding oneself). I was 100% Darn Tough socks, eventually switched to Feetures, but was surprised by how much I prefer the Balega Hidden Comforts (I received my first pair as a gift then proceeded to hunt down pairs on sale). I’m always reaching for them for my runs – they’re so soft and comfortable.

I don’t typically comment, but I love this post and totally agree. I run half marathons (I just finished my 16th), and I am ridiculous about my socks. I wear Balega when I run and Feetures when I’m not running. You have great taste in lots of things, including socks.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
