The Find: A Stylish, Minimalist Top

Feb 12, 2019

Apparently, I have dramatic sleeves on the brain.  Yesterday it was puff sleeve sweaters.  Today it’s a lovely v-neck top with a pleated sleeve that is nice for the spring transition.

This River Island frill v-neck top is a great option for work or weekend.  The v-neck makes it perfect for layering under blazers of sweaters.  It would also look lovely tucked into a slim-fitting skirt.

As for my second choice from River Island, this geometric printed top is fab.  A great flow shape when untucked, a slight blouson when tucked in.

Have you ordered from River Island? What’s the quality like. Wish their plus size options were as nice a the straight size.

I think the quality is better than Zara. The pieces I own from them, I would consider the quality about Halogen quality.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
